12pm - WICKLOW WRITERS
1.30- 3pm YOUNG PERFORMERS FROM UNITAS ISAC
UNITAS ISAC is a group dedicated to the integration of Indian culture through the arts & sports. A variety of exciting young performers will take to the stage including-
- Aileen Elsa Reji : Indian cinematic dance
Although just 8 years old, Aileen has taken 2nd prize for the last two years in the Indian Bollywood Dance competition and has performed widely throughout Ireland. Aileen is from Phisborough in Dublin.
- Saptha Raman Namboodiri : Indian bollywood fusion dance

Saptha has been participating in both Indian and Irish dance competitions for several years and, apart from performing reguarly on stage, has also performed for RTE as a part of this year's Festival of Colours celebration last March.
- South Indian classical dance group -
Saptha Raman Namboodiri, Tara Rose Wilson, Merlin Elsa David & Alaina Susan Shiji will perform in a classical Indian style called 'Mohiniyattam'- a gentle traditional dance from Kerala, South India.
All of the young performers are from Dublin and have been involved in Indian dance for some time. They regularly compete in dance competition and perform at a variety of events throughout the country.

Saptha Raman Namboodiri performs to the song 'Omanathingal kidavoo…' a traditional lullaby written by the famous Indian poet Erayimman Thambi for Swathi Thirunal, the Prince of South India, Kerala.

2pm - MIDDLE EASTERN DANCE PERFORMANCE with ETOILE de la MER
Etoile de La Mer is proud to perform in her hometown
of Wicklow to support the Wicklow Arts Festival and hopes her performance will inspire women of all shapes and sizes to celebrate their beauty and embrace the gifts bestowed on us.
Etoile de La Mer is a professional dancer, performer and therapist. If you want to learn the beautiful and ancient art of bellydance, classes are available at Hillview Community Centre, Wicklow Town, most Friday mornings-the nominal charge of €2 goes towards the upkeep of the centre. Etoile de la Mer is a gifted teacher and will make you feel welcome and at ease.
Emphasis in her classes is on staying fit whilst having fun as well as loving your body whatever its shape. She is planning on starting up Belly2Abs fitness classes in Wicklow town in the future & also offers bellydance classes for hen nights to bring out the goddess in every woman.

3.15pm - WICKLOW LATIN DANCE SHOWCASE
Students from Wicklow Latin Dance showcase their skills in Ballroom and Latin Dancing. The dancers range from age 3–15 & will be performing in various exciting routines which include the Cha Cha, Samba and Jive. We will be finishing the show with a Ballroom and Latin Dancercise taster class, so get ready to join in & have some fun!
Since establishing in 2009 in County Wicklow,
Wicklow Latin Dance is rapidly becoming one of the largest competitive Ballroom and Latin Dance Schools in Ireland & is home to the Under 8 Irish Ballroom and Latin Champions. In addition to Ballroom and Latin dancing classes for adults & children from 3 onwards, Wicklow Latin Dance also runs their unique Ballroom and Latin Dancercise fitness classes for adults in Wicklow, Arklow and Greystones. They are currently teaching more than 100 people a week across all their classes. Founders of Wicklow Latin Dance, Alex and Elaine, both have over 15 years of dancing, competing & teaching experience. They themselves were trained by the best in the Ballroom and Latin Dancing field inc. European & World champions. Now Alex and Elaine are training champions of the future.

ASHFORD ACADEMY YOUTH CHOIR
The Ashford Academy of Music
recently moved premises and opened it's doors in the centre of Ashford Village. As a leading Music Educator in the South East, we offer classes for Children, Teens and Adults from beginners to advanced students with Graded Examinations through ABRSM, RIAM & TCL. We put on annual concerts both a Christmas and Summertime and take part in many outside events- Arklow Music Festival (our Youth Choir came 2nd this year), The Peace Proms @ the Helix 2011 with the Cross Border Orchestra.
At Ashford Academy of Music “Music 4 Fun” Summer Camps we take the students on a learning adventure in the worlds of music and movement. The Students are exposed to music through songs, games and group activities, encouraging self expression, creativity and social development.
