After a spectacular launching of the programme for the Wicklow Arts Festival 2010 by Senator David Norris, Wicklow Town came alive with music, art exhibitions, dance, crafts and family entertainment with over 40 events taking place over four days. The Arts Trail was more popular than ever with a huge number of submissions that turned the whole town into a gallery and artists gathered to sell and display paintings on the railings. The sun shone on Bachelors Walk by the river which bustled with artisan food and craft stalls and the festival tent hosted non-stop activities for all the family. With music, comedy and drama too, 2010 was a huge success. Plans are now underway for next year so keep checking our website or facebook for news of WAF 2011 and meantime, enjoy the photos from this year!
